COSALT has extended a deadline to pay back £6m of credit facilities provided by chairman David Ross until the end of this year.

The money has been made available to the company through Oval, the vehicle Mr Ross used for his takeover attempt of the business last year.

The extension to December 31 coincides with the date at which the group's bank facilities run to.
