MANUFACTURER Fibrelite is looking to capitalise on a year of investment after seeing turnover grow by more than 10%.

The company's latest figures show turnover hit £11.3m while gross profit increased from £4.53m to £4.8m in 2011.

During the year the firm launched a new manufacturing operation in Malaysia and invested heavily in a marketing strategy aimed at encouraging utilities firms to use its composite manhole covers which are already widely deployed on petrol station forecourts.
