WORK on a transport scheme backed by the Regional Growth Fund that could help create 98 jobs is set to go ahead.

The project will see the building of a new roundabout at Dish Hill to help support the construction of a new £300m power plant at Ferrybridge.

The Government has offered up to £1.34m from the Regional Growth Fund to help meet the costs of the project with the private sector set to make a contribution of £250,000.
