Pipeline contract win in Morocco for Weir Minerals

A YORKSHIRE manufacturer has secured an £8.6m contract to supply pumps for a major pipeline project in Morocco.

The pumps supplied by Weir Minerals will help move phosphate rock along a new 200km long pipeline from inland mines to the coast.

It is being built by Turkish contractor Tekfen on behalf of OCP, a state-owned company in Morocco.
