VetUK snaps up rival

VETERINARY supplies firm VetUK has bought a competitor business which it will move to Yorkshire.

Nutrecare, an online vet and pet product retailer, was based in Kidderminster with a turnover of more than £3m.

VetUK has bought the business from founder Michael Bianco and will take on four new staff as it transfers Nutrecare's operations to its Thirsk headquarters.

Nutrecare employed five people in Kidderminster but none of the staff chose to make the move.
