MACHINE tool manufacturer 600 Group is to relocate its head office and close its Polish operation.

The company is shifting its group headquarters to Heckmondwike and plans to sell its current Leeds offices.

600 Group bought a machine tool factory in Poland for £875,000 in 2010 but the company today said it had suffered "significant trading losses".

The moves follow a review started by chief executive Neil Rogers following his appointment in March.
