HOTWORK Combustion Technology has been sold to investment-fund backed Sterling Industries.

The Dewsbury-based business will operate as an independent company as part of the combustion technology division of Sterling Industries.

Hotwork's previous owners, David Robinson and Brian Crowther, will stay with the company as part of the deal.

The shareholders in Hotwork were advised by Guy Jackson and Alexandra Birch from the Leeds office of law firm Cobbetts.
