RECYCLING products group Straight has issued a profits warning despite seeing sales over the first half of 2012 increase.

A number of redundancies - 45 at its Hull manufacturing base - have been made as part of a series of measures to help trim costs.

In a trading statement Straight said: "The benefit of these actions, which included a number of redundancies, will only come through in the second half of the year.
