Expansion for Roomzzz Aparthotel
ROOMZZZ Aparthotel UK, the company with three venues in Leeds, is to open a £5m development in Newcastle as part of its expansion strategy.
Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz Aparthotel UK, said: “2012 is an important year for the brand with key investment into major UK cities.
“Roomzzz Aparthotel is known for its innovation and with that the ability to attract large and varied demographics to its locations which has driven the company to a strong position year on year.
“We are investing a further £500,000 into the development of an additional 11 apartments in our Manchester CITY location in order to help cope with demand.”
The Newcastle venue will see a Georgian House originally built in the 1700s restored.
The grade two-listed building is being adapted to house 44 apartments and suites as part of the completed development.
Phase one is on schedule to be open in November 2012.
The group’s three venues in Leeds boast a total of more than 160 apartments and suites.
The Manchester venue will have 63 when the next phase is completed.
Roomzzz Aparthotel launched in 2006 and allows guests to stay in serviced apartments either on breaks or for longer periods if staying in a city for work.
