A YORKSHIRE businessman has launched a sock subscription service after claiming the age of the discerning gentleman is becoming a lost art.

Socked.co.uk is the brainchild of Mark Hall, who claims average households spend £137 a year on socks.

Mr Hall, of Ilkley, claims the hefty outgoing is mainly down to people having to replace odd pairs.
