EXPERIENCED business people are to help small businesses grow in a new initiative from the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership.

The LEP is recruiting mentors for a programme which will see volunteers give one hour a month to advise people starting their own businesses.

LEP board members are setting an example by volunteering their own time.
