LANDSCAPING and paving product specialist Marshalls is set to close its South Yorkshire operation after the wet weather saw the company slump to a £10.8m pre-tax loss in the first half of the year.

The closure is the latest in a series of restructuring measures which saw the company take an £18.5m charge against its figures in the first half with a further £2.5m expected in the second half.
