JCT 600 has seen profits rise by almost 50% so far in 2012 after enjoying record car sales.

The Bradford-based family car retailer recorded its best month in its history for used car sales in August.

The group saw strong sales throughout its 42 dealerships and used car sales were up by 15% year on year. 

New car sales to private buyers also increased by 16% for the first eight months of 2012.
