Have Your Say

Oh dear looks like someone dropped a big one here! Finance Yorkshires arrogant attitude to businesses looking for finance, that don't have a patent clearly shows that the businesses they think are unique, recession proof and protect-able are not. £1.2M + costs up the swanny. OUCH. What a complete waste of money authorised by a 2 bit quango yet again. With such an experienced and highly qualified group of 'executives' you would think every loan they make would be a safe banker - obviously NOT! The people that run and are employed to make the decisions at FY are nothing more than 'wanna be, theorist' business men who have NO REAL LIFE business experience of their own, because they don't have the entrepreneurial skills, acumen or the nuts to do it themselves. They are nothing more than glorified desk jockeys, sitting around in their meetings, who despite all the hundreds of letters after their names are profoundly flawed in their procedures. Its just such a shame they are not lending their own money, instead of tax payers cash. Just think what could have been done with those funds! Its going to be an awkward meeting when someone has to hold their hand up when asked "who signed this beauty off then?" Someone NEEDS to lose their job over this, but I bet no-one does. It will be a round of pats on the back to a chorus of blameless self-soothing comments and then back to more self-important, pompous meetings, tea and biscuits. I wonder which of their deals is next to go bad?!

So what happened to 5.1m of tax payers money? Who decided to invest in this firm 10 months before its collapse And why is it always the administrators who are the only ones to come out smiling? Business eh?
