Good Travel Management in profile

BUSINESS travel firm Good Travel Management is growing its presence in Yorkshire with a new office in Leeds set for its official opening.

The Hull-headquartered business, part of the family-owned John Good Group, has established the office at Thorpe Park Business Park and is holding an opening event on Wednesday, October 3.

Kevin Harrison, managing director of Good Travel Management, said opening the new office was a milestone in the company’s long history.

The event starts with a champagne reception and will include a short presentation by the Good Travel Management team on its services including trade missions and how to create opportunities for your business.

Representatives from a range of airlines will also be at the event, including Air France, Delta, KLM, Alitalia, Emirates, Etihad, Star Alliance and United Airlines, as well as from Leeds Bradford Airport, hotel chain Travel Cube and train operator East Coast.

One lucky attendee will win a fabulous trip to Paris as part of a prize draw.

Good Travel Management has been operating since the late 1800s, is the longest serving member of IATA and is also a partner of international travel group Uniglobe.

As well as Leeds and Hull, the business has offices in Grimsby and in Hagley in the West Midlands.

Kevin Harrison Good Travel ManagementMr Harrison said: “The Leeds office will help us open up new markets across the north and north midlands. It dovetails nicely with our other operations because it allows us to serve customers to the west of our Humber offices and to the north of the West Midlands base.”

The launch event is open to anyone who regularly books business travel and will take place at the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, on Wednesday, October 3, from 5pm.
