BARRETT Steel Group has launched a new business targeting offshore industries.

The company has set up Barrett Offshore Tubes to provide a service focused on the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.

It wants to capitalise on efforts within the offshore wind industry to reduce the costs of generating power by improving supply chain efficiency.
