MORE than 50 jobs have been saved but a further 109 staff have been made redundant at an electrical goods importing family business.

Sam Woodward, John Sumpton and Tom Jack of Ernst & Young were today appointed joint administrators of HI Group and eight of its subsidiaries, which include Fridgemaster Corporation and Whitwood Warehouse.
