Pupils give lifeline to underprivileged babies

A GROUP of students have beaten hundreds of entrants from across the region after devising an idea for a gift pack for new mothers in the developing world which they now hope to make a commercial reality.

The four year nine pupils from St Joseph's Catholic College in Bradford took part in the 'Solutions for the Planet - the Great Debate' competition, the final of which was held at the Houses of Parliament against other entrants from Yorkshire.
