INTELLIGENCE gathering equipment firm DATONG has warned shareholders its full year results will be "materially below" its performance in 2011.

The company told the City this morning sales revenue was likely to come in at around £9.3m compared to £11.7m last year.

Datong said the level of orders from the Americas had been "unexpectedly slower" compared to previous years and fell short of the board's expectations.
