ADMINISTRATORS have closed seven JJB Sports stores in the region with the loss of more than 100 jobs.

Sports Direct has bought one of the retailer's Leeds stores, saving 11 jobs, as part of a wider deal for 20 JJB Sports outlets.

However, two stores in Leeds and others in Dewsbury, Wakefield, Scarborough, Grimsby and Chesterfield have closed with the loss of 101 jobs.
