FOOD group Cranswick is looking to grow its pastry products business after seeing sales grow 6% in the first half of the year.

The company told shareholders this morning it has bought land to build a "premium pastry facility" which will be up and running in the Spring.

It has also completed a major investment in the processing facility at Preston, Hull, and it has begun extending its Sutton Fields cooked meat facility.
