INDIAN restaurant group Akbars is branching out into Oriental cuisine with the opening of a new outlet in Bradford.

The business is launching Akbars Oriental, a halal Chinese restaurant, on Leeds Road, yards away from its first ever restaurant.

Shabir Hussain, who owns the chain, said: "We’re aware many people in Bradford like the unique Akbars experience and are interested in enjoying fine Chinese food.
