New facilities for enterprising pair

A COUPLE have secured new premises following growth for their two businesses.

Fight For Fashion and Professional Security have enjoyed success in their relative fields and the new 18,760 sq ft accommodation at Crown Point House in Leeds will provide both meeting and warehousing facilities for the two businesses, which have outgrown their former accommodation.

Fight for Fashion, owned by David Fullerton and Abby Williams, was established five years ago and acts as both a retailer and distributor of premium fashion brands and mixed martial arts clothing and equipment.

The company supplies to leading high street retailers such as JD Sports, DW Sports and Sports Direct.

Professional Security, established in 2002 by Mr Fullerton, is a security staff provider in the North of England. The company  supplied 300 daily security staff for the London Olympics.

The companies collectively employ 35 permanent staff and more than 3,000 security staff.

Mr Fullerton said: “We have been very lucky to have achieved so much in such economically challenging times but the hard work is paying off and the last few years have seen both businesses flourish.

““The new premises are ideal for us, we needed mixed use facilities near to Leeds city centre and Crown Point House was the perfect fit. We now have more office space for our hard working staff and can also relocate our stock from the Midlands to Leeds which should enable a more efficient service for our customers.”

Jonathan White, senior surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall who let the property, said “Prior to our involvement the property had been vacant for a number of years so it’s great to see these premises fully let once more to a local business enjoying such success.

“The site’s proximity to Leeds City Centre and the Crown Point Retail Park as well as its mixed use status made it a natural choice for Mr Fullerton and Miss Williams.”
