TOUR operator Jet2Holidays, sister company to the budget airline Jet2.com, has issued a winding up petition on a small Stockport travel business.

Jet2, part of Leeds-based Dart Group, alleges Marple company Top Class Travel, a late deal holiday specialist, owes it £70,000 in unpaid fees after taking more than 100 people on holiday.

It claims some of the money owed dates back to March.
