Matteo signs for Levi Solicitors

FORMER Leeds United captain Dominic Matteo has been appointed by Levi Solicitors after the firm launched a sports law department.

Mr Matteo, who spent eight years playing for Liverpool before signing for the Elland Road club, will act as an ambassador for the Leeds-based firm.

Commenting on his role with Levi Solicitors, Mr Matteo said: “I am delighted to sign with Levi Solicitors and to be a part of their new sports law department.

“I learned very early in my career that getting the right professional advice from the right people is crucial to sustain personal success, and it’s Levi’s understanding of this importance that persuaded me to get on board.”

Steven Newdall, managing partner at the firm, said: “The firm prides itself on achieving outstanding results for clients in a competitive and challenging environment, and we are delighted to be able to offer this to those involved in both professional and amateur sport.

“Dominic’s insight into the support required by professional sports people, both during and after their careers, makes him an invaluable addition to the team.”

The Levi’s sports law team comprises partners Richard Wisnia and Renato Peral, and head of employment  Ian Abel.
