GFH CAPITAL, the finance house in talks to buy Leeds United, has provided proof that it has the funds in place to complete the deal, according to the club.

In a joint statement released this morning, Leeds United chairman Ken Bates said: "It's been a long road but we are in a good place. Both sides have been in talks over the last few days to finalise this deal.

"We are keeping focused and hope to complete very soon."
