Ban and fine for Topps Rogers partner

A FINANCIAL advisor has been fined more then £100,000 and banned from working in the financial services industry after advising customers to invest in high risk products.
Martin Rigney, a partner at Sheffield-based financial advisory firm Topps Rogers, was given a £117,330 fine by The Financial Services Authority.
The fine comes on top of a £97,600 fine the FSA imposed on Topps Rogers earlier this year for promoting and advising retail customers to invest in Unregulated Collective Investment Sc......for the full story register now for free or login below...
