Ilkley opening for Wilson Solicitors

WILSONS Solicitors has further expanded with the opening of its seventh office.

The move into Ilkley will create seven new jobs with the office being headed up by Steven Murgatroyd, who has been with Wilsons for seven years.

The expansion comes six months after opening an office in Baildon.
 
John Wilson, managing director of Wilsons Solicitors, believes there are opportunities for legal sector growth despite consolidation in the market.

Mr Wilson said: “In recent times there have been an increasing numbers of mergers and takeovers among law firms resulting in the smaller practices being swallowed up and the personal service being lost.
 
“We believe there are many people in the locality who will prefer the more traditional approach and would welcome the opportunity to deal with one person whom they can trust with all their legal matters.
 
“From our new base in Ilkley we hope to be able to build up a good client base with those living in the town, as well as those in the more rural communities.”
 
In addition to Ilkley, Wilsons has offices in Wibsey, Idle, Baildon, Horsforth, Farsley and Whitkirk.
