Latest appointments: Blacks Solicitors, Co-operative Bank, HSBC

LEEDS law firm Blacks Solicitors LLP has made a series of promotions.

David Paterson has been promoted to partner in the company and commercial department, family law solicitors Victoria Lungu and Jane Ingleby are amongst two of four assistant solicitors who have been promoted to associates, James Teagle has stepped up to associate in the firm’s commercial disputes resolution department and Tom Moyes has become associate in the employment department.

THE Co-operative Bank has strengthened its team in Yorkshire with the appointment of Helen Place as new specialist relationship manager for charities and social enterprises in the region. Co-op Bank

She has more than 20 years experience in banking having held a number of relationship roles covering Yorkshire, the North East and Nottingham.

Helen will be based from the bank’s Corporate Banking Centre on King Street in Leeds.

HSBC has appointed Jason Gledhill to the role of area commercial director for the Yorkshire districts of Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.

Based at HSBC’s Chancery Lane Commercial Centre in Huddersfield, he will focus on supporting businesses with a turnover between £2m and £30m.

Jason has spent 24 years in the banking industry in the North of England, most recently with Barclays Corporate in Manchester.
