NetConstruct acquired by Ingenuity Digital Holdings

YORKSHIRE-BASED web design and development agency NetConstruct has been bought by search engine optimisation and digital marketing firm Ingenuity Digital Holdings.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, sees Wetherby-based NetConstruct acquiredfrom its founder David Bentley by IDH which owns Leeds and Harrogate and London business The WebMarketing Group.

NetConstruct is an award winning provider of online services and hosting including enterprise level websites and e-commerce stores for business-to-business and business-to-consumer application to mobile, video, online training and systems integration.

It is the highest ranked UK digital agency for the Kentico content management system, which is used by many industrial, commercial and public sector clients.
 
IDH also owns London-based Ingenuity Digital and following the acquisition of NetConstruct, the group now employs more than 100 marketing professionals.
 
Dennis Engel, chief executive of IDH, said: “To date, the primary focus of the group has been search marketing for medium and large companies in the UK and internationally.

Oliver Hoffman, national head of corporate finance based in the Leeds office of Mazars, advised NetConstruct with legal advice provided by Paul Berwin of Berwins Solicitors. The buyer was advised by Steven Hubbard of RSM Tenon and Paul Johnson of Irwin Mitchell.
