Banks Sadler swoops for MPI

EVENT management firm Banks Sadler, which has an operation in Yorkshire, has acquired Medical Projects International.

Based in London, MPI provides event management, medical communications and creative services to the healthcare industry.

Shareholder Christopher Rawlinson said: “Whilst the negotiation process was tense and difficult at times, we were left with a deal which we were both happy with.”

Banks Sadler deliver global meeting management services and has operations in York, London, Dusseldorf, Paris and New York.

David Campbell of Banks Sadler said: “We are pleased to have successfully completed our acquisition of MPI and look forward to working with the existing management team in the future.”

Benchmark International advised on the sale, which it said was for an “undisclosed substantial seven figure sum.”
