Belgravium set to acquire FDP

MOBILE data capture specialist Belgravium Technologies has agreed a deal to acquire workforce management firm Feedback Data (FDP).

The £600,000 deal between Bradford-based Belgravium Technologies and East Sussex’s FDP is subject to an approval from FDP’s shareholders and an adjustment to reflect the debt/cash position at completion, which is expected to take place on May, 31.

Belgravium supplies and manages a range of mobile computing services with a focus on the logistics, transportation and mobile retailing sectors.

FDP specialises in workforce management for companies operating in both the industrial and retail environments with clients within the logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, leisure and consumer retail.

The audited accounts for FDP for the year ended May 2012 show a turnover of £1.925m and a loss before tax and group management charge of £54,000.

Chairman of Belgravium, John Kembery, said: “We are delighted to have agreed terms to acquire FDP.  FDP operates in sectors that are new and exciting to Belgravium and the acquisition will enable both FDP and Belgravium to share and utilise their respective hardware and software capabilities.

“Belgravium brings a strong technical base to FDP’s existing business and product ranges.  We believe that with the additional resource and investment that we can provide, FDP will soon be restored to a position of profitable growth.”
