Umeco extends relationship with Rolls-Royce

AEROSPACE manufacturer Umeco has extended its commercial relationship with Rolls-Royce.

Through its Pattonair subsidiary, Umeco already provides Rolls-Royce with supply chain management services to its locations in the UK and Germany.

A new contract has now been signed under which Umeco will provide supply chain services to the Rolls-Royce North American operations, the company has announced.

Umeco, which has its process materials Aerovac factory in Keighley, says this new contract, effective from January 1 next year, is expected to generate annual revenues in excess of £12.5m and has an initial term extending until the end of 2017.

Planning for the new contract is underway and it will be managed from Pattonair’s existing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition, it has been agreed with Rolls-Royce that the existing major supply chain contract in the UK will be extended by two years and therefore run until the end of 2017.

The North American contract will now form the basis for all new contracts that Pattonair may secure for service provision to Rolls-Royce.
