Yorkshire care provider ubu rolls out new apartments

A NORTH Yorkshire care provider is continuing to roll out its innovative accommodation model with the opening of 15 new apartments.

ubu has developed its uStep model, which provides 24-hour support for vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. The apartments will be in Nottingham and will create 10 new jobs.

The Harrogate-based company has continued to successfully roll out new initiatives and currently cares for more than 400 people in the North of England and the Midlands.

Recent openings of the uStep model have been in Harrogate, with 40 apartments opened in January and in Morley, when the care provider took over 20 apartments at the Sovereign Mill.
