A YORKSHIRE-BASED construction group has secured £6.8m of funding as it continues to buck the national trend and expand its business operations.

Horbury Group, based in Rotherham, is on track to grow turnover to £54m and plans to use the funding to help it achieve its goal.

The group has just moved into its new 28,000 sq ft offices on South Grove, and has launched a new mechanical and electrical engineering business called Croft Electrical.
