Yorkshire internet security firm prepares to take Scotland by storm
INTERNET security firm RandomStorm has launched an operation in Scotland, just two months after opening its first London office.
The office in Glasgow, will provide an additional base, close to RandomStorm’s customers in the oil and gas and hospitality industries.
As part of the expansion, RandomStorm has appointed David Burnett as country manager.
RandomStorm employs a growing team of network security engineers, software developers and penetration testers. The company provides network security monitoring products and consultancy services, to help organisations to identify where they may be vulnerable to social engineering and cyber attacks that could increase the risk to their digital assets and compromise their ability to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and the Data Protection Act.
Burnett joins the company from Onyx Group Scotland, where he managed new business development within the region.

I was impressed by its innovative vulnerability scanning platform and first rate consultancy services provided to enterprises and SMBs within the oil, gas and hospitality sectors and I am excited to be joining the company to support its expansion in Scotland.”
