Suits & Vinyl set to rock

A NETWORKING group where professionals meet for a drink and play their favourite vinyl tracks has reached 350 members as it prepares for its lastest event tomorrow.

Launched by Dave Jones of Reward Capital and accountant Simon Palmer, Suits & Vinyl is held every quarter and is free to join.

Guests are encouraged to bring a vinyl track of their choice to the event which is played to the other attendees.

Commenting on the growing popularity of the Suits & Vinyl events, Jones said: “The attraction is that when you arrive you’ve instantly got something in common and that’s the music. People can then do business.”

Palmer said: “This is the easiest and best networking in town. We all love music and we want our vinyl played by a top DJ and talk to people like minded people.

“Don’t be afraid about what type of music you love, as long as its a record it doesn’t matter. S&V virgins will always get their choice played before others.”

The next Suits & Vinyl event is taking place in the upstairs room at Mook Bar in Leeds on Friday, April 25 from 3.30pm until 7pm.

Mr Jones said that it is not compulsory to wear a suit at the event or bring a vinyl record.
