Legal consultancy launches in Yorkshire
A NEW legal consultancy has launched in Leeds.
The Legal Director will be headed up by Paul Forster who joins from AIM-listed Dart Group where he was group company secretary. Forster has also previously worked for Shulmans and Lupton Fawcett.
The firm, launched in London five years ago, provides businesses with in-house lawyers to manage their legal affairs on an ongoing but part-time or flexible basis.
Forster said the premise is that a business doesn’t go from not needing an in-house lawyer to immediately needing one full time, but many would often benefit from freeing up FD/MDs by bolting on a part time executive team member who can distil and deal with all legal and regulatory issues.
Director Kirstie Penk said: “Paul’s breadth of experience precisely complements our goal of providing clients with clear-cut legal advice in business-friendly language. Paul can be your part-time legal director, working alongside your own board of directors (either remotely or at your offices).”

As well as Leeds and London, the Legal Director also has consultants based in Sheffield, Reading Princes Risborough, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Cheltenham and Manchester.
