Esh Build secures project win

ESH Build has won a £2.6m project to build 15 new homes with communal facilities in Warwick for Creative Support, an organisation that provides social care services.

Manchester-based Creative Support operates across the UK to provide community support and supported living for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs.

Arthur McCabe, development officer for Creative Support, said: “Our mission is to promote the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of people with support needs. This development will provide wonderful new homes for the people we work with. Esh Build share our values and commitment to engaging with the communities they operate in.”

The Esh Group has seen revenue grow from £45m to £55m in the region with overall group revenues reaching £200m across the North. Expansion has come from the social housing, civils and commercial build sectors, which includes the recent completion of several major projects including The Tetley and the construction of a new sea wall in Bridlington.

The contract will be managed by Esh Build and begins in September 2014, with a completion scheduled for November 2015.

Chris Walker, divisional director of Esh Build, said: “This project brings much needed homes for people who require supported living. We are now servicing work across the UK, which is supporting the continued growth of our Yorkshire operation.”

The company has recently substantially increased the size of its Yorkshire office at Thorpe Park in Leeds and is seeking an operational depot in West Yorkshire.

Peter Marshall Associates are consultants on the project.
