Henderson acquires CRS

YORKSHIRE’S Henderson Insurance Brokers has acquired Corporate Risk Systems.

Established as an independent company in 1999 following a spin out from Sun Alliance Insurance, Burton upon Trent-based CRS is a provider of health, safety and environmental training and consultancy services in the UK and abroad.

Led by Stephen Asbury, an author of four books on safety and risk management, CRS has developed and delivered training to many of the major global oil and gas operators, including the PetroSkills Alliance and delivered year on year growth in revenues.

Asbury will remain with CRS to ensure a successful integration and to work alongside Leeds-based Henderson’s management in maximising new opportunities.

No financial details have been disclosed.

Birmingham’s Jasper Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Corporate Risk Systems.
