Expansion plans revealed for popular Yorkshire venue

WORK on a £500,000 expansion project at the Millhouse Restaurant and Bar in East Yorkshire is due to get underway next month.

The ambitious scheme will create space for 100 extra covers in the existing dining area, as well as a private dining room on the second floor, complete with its own bar and roof terrace.

Owner Mark Ciuffetelli took over the Millhouse Restaurant and Bar in Skidby 20 years ago, from the late Franco Ciuffetelli, who established it in 1990.

“We know that there’s demand for extra seating in the existing restaurant, but we also wanted to create a plush private dining area that larger parties or corporate clients can have to themselves,” Mark Ciuffetelli said.

“Like the main dining area, it will be a very luxurious and stylish space, where customers can dine, drink and enjoy the wonderful views in complete privacy.

“This represents a significant investment for us, which shows how committed we are to developing and enhancing the range of services that we offer to our customers.”

The three-month project will be completed in time for Christmas.
