Law firm opens second office

BEAUMONT Legal has expanded its business with the opening of a second office in Wakefield.

The new 8,800 sq ft office, at Wakefield 41 Business Park, adds to the firm’s existing 11,500 sq ft headquarters at Paragon Business Village. This gives Beaumont Legal, which describes itself as the largest conveyancer in Yorkshire, the space to home new residential conveyancers with the firm having recruited more than 100 new faces in the past 18 months.

As well as giving the firm the potential to expand beyond 200 employees, the new office will also be home to Beaumont Legal’s £150,000 training academy, created to help all the firm’s staff, at all levels, improve their skills.

Nick Masheder, partner and head of conveyancing for Beaumont Legal, said: “Last year we helped with the sale, purchase and remortgage of more than 8,000 UK properties – more than £1.7bn worth of real estate – so the new office is crucial to the continued development of our conveyancing department.

“When we moved from the centre of Wakefield to Paragon Business Village in 2005, our aim was to offer modern home movers across the country an online service combined with a personal touch. This has proved to be incredibly successful and resulted in our position as the largest conveyancer in Yorkshire.

“The new office is an integral part of our ambitious growth plans and our next step in continued expansion of our growing teams across all areas of the firm. The move also kick starts our training academy, allowing new recruits to have the finest professional space in which to learn, harness and improve their legal talents.”
