Fulcrum set to welcome new CFO

FULCRUM Utility Services is to welcome its new chief financial officer later this month.

The Sheffield-based energy services business – which built and managed the systems to deliver gas to the London 2012 Olympic flame – has appointed Martin Harrison who will take up the role on September 29.

Fulcrim said he brings with him significant experience gained in various senior finance roles including those in the building products and infrastructure sectors. His most recent role was as finance director and primary board member of Lafarge Tarmac Contracting, a division of Lafarge Tarmac, the UK’s leading sustainable building materials group.

Chairman Philip Holder said: “We are delighted that Martin will be joining the business and board. He brings with him considerable experience which will be of great benefit to the business in the next stage of its development.”

Current interim CFO Robert Douglas will leave the business after a handover period.

Martin Donnachie, CEO, said: “The board and I would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for the significant contribution Robert has made as interim CFO with the business during a period of turnaround. We wish him well in his future assignments.”
