Global branding group refinances

GLOBAL branding business Principle Group has secured an expansion funding package worth £10m.

Principle Group, headquartered in Huddersfield, has secured the funding with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

The deal follows the company’s recent announcement of plans to invest £3m in transforming the former Remploy factory adjacent to its current Yorkshire premises, expanding the site and boosting the local economy by creating up to 44 new jobs. The development will include client showrooms, a theatre and conferencing facilities.

Principle Group, which has offices in USA, Italy, Germany, India and China, and is currently launching new offices in Japan and South Africa, works with major names spanning corporate and retail sectors and global brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and leading financial institutions.

The new banking package comprises working capital, revolving credit and term loan facilities that will support the business’s growth strategy and fund investment in future capital projects.

Principle Group, which employs more than 300 members of staff directly, and almost 600 indirectly around the world, offers a ‘one-stop shop’ for brand implementation, supporting clients across 60 countries worldwide.

Victoria Woodings, global board director of Principle Group, said: “We’re proud of our roots and that our reach is continuing to grow internationally from our original base in the heart of Yorkshire.”
