Law firm becomes first occupier of St Paul’s House

LAW firm DAC Beachcroft has become the first occupier to sign up for office space in the newly refurbished St Paul’s House in Leeds.

The legal firm has agreed an 11-year lease on 25,000 sq ft over three floors in the Grade II listed building, which is owned by Boultbee Brooks Real Estate.

The former cloth-cutting works was built in the late 19th Century and overlooks the central gardens of Park Square.

Virginia Clegg, regional senior partner at DAC Beachcroft Leeds, said:  “This is an exciting development for our staff in Leeds and demonstrates the firm’s long-term commitment to our clients and our people.  The move to these centrally located, first-class premises marks the next stage in our considerable investment in the city.”

Paul Fairhurst, head of Savills Leeds, which represented DAC Beachcroft, added: “This historic property is one of the most attractive office buildings in Leeds and ensures our established client is ideally situated to continue its growth and development.”

Clive Boultbee Brooks of Boultbee Brooks Real Estate said the firm is anticipating high levels of interest in the remaining 19,188 sq ft of available space across the ground and third floors.
