Successful 2014 sees finance group make the move to Leeds
ULTIMATE Finance Group is opening an office in Leeds thanks to a successful year for the firm.
Nick Smith, group sales director, said the group, which has established itself as a leading provider of cashflow solutions to SMEs across the UK, sees Yorkshire as a “hugely important” region, and one the business is very keen to develop more aggressively.
“This is just the latest stage in our ongoing plan to create a truly national footprint for the business and give the UK’s SMEs the kind of localised financial support they need to grow and prosper,” he said. “It will provide us with a great springboard for growth going into 2015.”
The new office is based in Park House in Leeds city centre.
“The doors will be open for business before the New Year, with a client manager starting in January,” Smith said. “We’ll be moving a client relationship team up in January and there’s a new sales person also joining that month – so we’ll have four locally based sales people servicing the Yorkshire marketplace.”
This news comes on the back of a successful period of expansion for the group. Interim results for the six months ended June 2014 show that the number of clients is up 24.7% to 1,085 and that the loan book increased by 27.6% to £48.6m since 2013. Over the same period revenue is up 14% to £7.2m and gross profit has increased 12% to £6.5m.
Smith said: “We’ve also tripled the invoice finance sales team ahead of us launching several exciting new initiatives that we have in the pipeline.”
The group has additional new products in the trial stage and has also initiated a Banking licence application.
“We have some very ambitious goals for 2015 and are working very hard to ensure that the business enjoys a very prosperous New Year,” Smith added.
Ultimate Finance Group, established more than12 years ago, is headquartered in Bristol with offices in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Leeds, Norwich and Lutterworth.
