Appointments: Clarion, Duchy Homes, Optare

Clarion has appointed Gina Rhodes and Amy Silverwood as associates and Charlotte Skinner and Lauren Clark as paralegals in its growing property team.

Gina has 11 years’ experience having worked as a commercial property solicitor for Squire Patton Boggs, whilst Amy joins Clarion from DWF where she spent two years after completing her training contract with the firm.

Charlotte completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School Leeds last year and has gained experience as a paralegal. Lauren has worked as a legal assistant in a conveyancing firm having qualified with a law degree.

Martin Grange, partner and head of property at Clarion, said: “As the property market continues to improve, we are seeing increased demand for our services and the arrival of our four new recruits will be a welcome boost to the team.”

David Mills and Lauren Glass of Duchy HomesHousebuilder Duchy Homes has strengthened the team with the appointment of sales executive Lauren Glass and site manager David Mills.

Ms Glass joins the Leeds team from Bellway Homes and Mr Mills has 29 years experience in the industry.

Optare has appointed Hariharan Krishnamurthi as chief financial officer.

Mr Krishnamurthi was chief financial officer and Company Secretary of the joint venture between Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motors of Japan.

Mr Krishnamurthi has been working with Ashok Leyland since 1996. He has handled all areas of finance including project management, management accounting, budgeting, costing and investor relations.
