Manchester consultancy crosses the Pennines with first Yorkshire office

MANCHESTER planning consultancy Hourigan Connolly is opening its first York office.

Founded in 2009 by directors Marc Hourigan and Daniel Connolly, the firm will now move into York’s Blake House.

The company has combated difficult circumstances and has a 100% success record for major planning applications and appeals.

Laura Richardson, an RICS planning and development surveyor has been appointed to support clients in the region, after having previously worked at CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank in Manchester and Leeds, as well as the Homes and Communities Agency in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Ms Richardson said: “I am thrilled that Hourigan Connolly has chosen York for its Yorkshire and North East base.

“We have built a fantastic reputation of getting positive results of our clients nationally from our Manchester office and we now look forward to achieving great things for a number of organisations this side of the Pennines.”
