Recycling entrepreneur returns with £1m investment in Leeds venture

WASTE management firm Lili Waste, from entrepreneur Matt Miles, will invest £1m in expanding its Leeds operations, creating 7 jobs, after successfully launching in Hull.

A site of operations in Morley is in the works with a pricetag of £500,000 for the specialist business waste firm which will deliver waste and recycling services to 300 businesses.

Lili Waste will now serve Leeds as well as Bradford, Wakefield, Otley and Ilkley, after launching in Hull less than a year ago.

Mr Miles, said: “I’m pleased that to be bringing fresh investment to Leeds. Having previously operated here successfully, I understand the market and the requirements of local businesses.

“Our expansion means, that as Leeds continues to thrive as a city, we’ll be on hand to service the waste management needs of West Yorkshire’s companies.

“With our comprehensive range of recycling services, we’re also confident that we’ll continue our great progress towards achieving our Zero Waste to Landfill directive.”

Speaking about the expansion, Adam Bailey, operations director of Lili Waste, added: “Our success in servicing the Hull region has allowed us to expand further and customer demand in the area meant that expansion into Leeds was the next logical step.

“We’re looking forward to bringing our waste management solutions to even more businesses across this great county!”
