Manufacturer relocates to Thirsk to enable expansion

ANGRAM, the UK manufacturer and distributor of drinks dispense equipment to the brewing industry, has expanded its operations with a move to a new 30,570 sq ft manufacturing and distribution facility in North Yorkshire.

The move to Thirsk Industrial Park will provide the additional space for the ongoing growth of the family business, which employs more than 50 people. The international exporter, whose clients include both global brands and local companies, develops its product range from creative design to full manufacture.

Angram’s managing director Nigel Farrar said: “This relocation consolidates all our operations under one roof and it gives us the capacity to further our expansion plans.

“As a manufacturer dealing in international markets around the world it’s vital that we have the infrastructure in place to take us to the next level and this move achieves this.”
Bilfinger GVA’s Yorkshire industrial and distribution team secured the letting and has been retained by Angram to dispose of the company’s surplus property in nearby Boroughbridge following the move, which extends to 9,944 sq ft sq ft.
